Thank you for volunteering to be a Sunday Servant.  These guidelines are designed to assist you in understanding your role. The current Sunday Servant Coordinators are Elaine Tarr and Lisa Olson.  To answer questions or pass on substitute information regarding: First service        Contact Elaine Tarr by phone or email Elaine@tarrs.com. Second service       Contact Lisa Olson by phone or by email lisajimolson@cos.net.   The coordinators are responsible for scheduling the Sunday servants each week.  Expect notification of the schedule via several forms: email, U.S. Post and a hard copy posting of the current schedule will be located in the narthex on the triangular kiosk.  It will also be printed in the monthly Spirit Newsletter. The coordinators will provide updated information regarding the servant positions and they will keep an updated list of those who are willing volunteers in each area of serving.  It is the servant’s responsibility to find their own subs from those lists and notify the coordinators with the changes. If you would like training, please contact your Sunday Servant Coordinator to schedule the training. Copies of these guidelines will be available in the Welcome Center Cart, the ushers’ stand and on the church web site at www.sothaz.com/sundayservants.  If you find any additional information to add, or corrections to the information, please forward these changes to Elaine Tarr. We are the first people visitors meet at our worship services so we ask that we approach these servant roles with loving hearts, smiling faces and appropriate dress.  This means clean and modest dress; no shorts, no short skirts, no low tops and no flip flops.  Together, we can make a difference in the worshiping community of Shepherd of the Hills.  Help us to be a light on the hill and to be a welcoming community to those who visit our church.
