Music groups are not now meeting due to the COVID-19 Outbreak.
2020 has been officially recognized as the 75th Anniversary year of the
Liberation for the Jewish Nation
from the Holocaust.
Due to the CoronaVirus Outbreak,
this event has been postponed to the Fall
Our contemporary music leader, Christie Morrison, has written “Lost Nursery Rhymes of Innocent Children”, written for baritone, children’s choir, marimba, violincello and piano.
Oskar Knoblauch, now 94 years old, will speak about his personal Holocaust experience calling it “A Boy’s Story, a Man’s Memory.”
Artist Robert Sutz, whose family was murdered in Auschwitz concentration camp, has focused his talents on creating life masks of Holocaust survivors using polychrome plaster and creating paintings of Holocaust scenes.  He will be displaying his art.
“A Gathering of Grace”, this year’s Holy Week cantata
will be presented at the Maundy Thursday 6:30 pm service on April 9th.
The cantata is a moving tribute to Christ’s life and ministry and conveys
the graceful theme of His sacrificial love for us. The choir will be accompanied
by chamber orchestra and everyone is invited to join the choir.
Rehearsals will be Wednesday evenings at 7 pm during Lent;
beginning on March 4th.

Other ways to participate in the music ministry are by lending your talents for general preparation and large events. We sometimes need gifted actors and readers for our presentations or help in preparations from filing and stocking folders to publicity releases and posters for large events. The music ministry enriches the congregations’ worship every Sunday. The music ministers find their personal relationship with God and their worship experience greatly enhanced by their participation as well as an increased sense of fellowship.
