The following items are needed for our Winter Giving.
Bring items to labeled bins in the church lobby hallway.
Small Toys – we need toys that will fit in a shoebox, like small puzzles, dominos, checkers for 10-14 year olds.
Gloves & hats – They will go into the pocket of 75 coats for the homeless this winter.
Learning Items – such as small sewing kits for girls, clothes line kits, stationary, or small tool boxes, for 10-14 year olds.

Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child is a project organized by Samaritan’s Purse, a religious non-profit that delivers boxes to underprivileged children around the world.
Our group met July 17 to fill over 50 shoeboxes with your donated items.
We still need adjustable boys baseball caps, small toys, flashlights, boys socks for 10-14 year olds, calculators, school supplies, empty shoe boxes and money for shipping.    Place items in the bin in the narthex.
We will be wrapping again in October.  Come join us!
Card Care Ministry

Though this is a small ministry, the women of WinGS have already sent nearly two dozen hand written post cards to women inmates. We write the cards and the people at Amazing Grace Church in Phoenix address them and get the card of encouragement to just the right person, at just the right time.  We have also started to write greeting cards and letters to our servicemen listed in the church bulletin. Those cards will be given directly to the family member of the serviceman, after we pray over them.
If you can write, you too can encourage someone with God’s love on a card.
Call Judy Konop (480-848-7220) to get cards and be part of this ministry.

Secret Sisters in Prayer is a one year gift of praying for another woman. You commit to pray for the sister whose name you draw and someone will draw your name and pray for you. It is first and foremost an offering of prayers to God for another. Some women remember their Secret Sister on holidays or their birthday with a card or a gift.
